Amsterdam/London, May 19, 2022 —

Fixico, the digital car repair management platform, has today announced a partnership with commercial motor insurtech, Zego, to optimise car repair handling and bring further efficiency and transparency to Zego’s customers. By partnering with Fixico, Zego can support customers in finding the best repair solution for each vehicle, while also centralising the management of all repairs and tracking their status in real-time.

Founded in London in 2016, Zego recently arrived in the Netherlands and offers a suite of insurance products that help fleet managers save time and money. Zego provides easy admin and risk management to improve driving behaviour, which results in lower premiums, while also decreasing fleet costs and benefitting overall road safety and fleet sustainability. Zego’s novel use of behavioural data and telematics has supported their expansion across Europe and made them the first UK-based insurtech to reach unicorn status.

For daily claim operations, Zego works with Van Ameyde, a European market leader in claims handling and IT development for insurance and risk management companies. Fixico’s digital solution has been fully integrated with Van Ameyde’s software for Zego’s fleet managers to seamlessly manage the end-to-end damage claim and repair handling process.

Fixico’s repair management platform and marketplace of more than 2,500 repairers across Europe supports businesses and drivers in finding the best repair solutions for their vehicles. Fixico’s platform is fully customisable and easily integrated with existing systems and processes. As such, Zego’s customers will be able to experience effortless repair allocation and management. In addition, as Fixico streamlines all repairs in a central environment, users can unlock rich insights into repair KPIs such as prices, cycle times and repairer performance.

Fixico and Zego’s partnership has commenced in the Netherlands with plans to roll-out to other European countries soon. Fixico already leverages its network of repairers to support Zego with the installation of the tracking devices in both the Netherlands and France.

''Two innovative companies teaming-up to transform the insurance industry by using high-end tech solutions that save clients time and money. Fixico helps us manage the repair side in a fully digital way, offering us full control on all repairs and enabling us to benefit from a repair network across Europe,” said Sander Kernkamp, General Manager Netherlands at Zego.

“Zego makes insurance easy, and we’re thrilled to be helping them make repairs easy as well. Together we can offer a fully digital solution that not only promises a smoother user experience, but also finds the best repair solutions in terms of quality, costs, availability and distance,” said Derk Roodhuyzen de Vries, CEO and cofounder of Fixico.
